Gretchyn Bailey, NCLC, FAAO, Eye Health Contributor

Gretchyn is editor in chief, channel content director of Optometry Times. Previously, she was a freelancer and consultant for companies such as Bristol-Myers Squibb.

She has also been associate publisher at Elsevier and associate publisher, editor-in-chief and director of special projects at Jobson Publishing.

Gretchyn has worked in various editorial capacities for Review of Optometry, Journal of the American Optometric Association and Contact Lens Spectrum, a professional journal for eye care practitioners who fit contact lenses. She has written about many facets of optometric practice, including examination equipment, managed care, hospital privileges and children's vision.

Prior to her career in ophthalmic journalism, Gretchyn was an optometric technician. She is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
